Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the Venmo Credit Card you must be at least 18 years old, a US resident, and have a Venmo account in good standing for at least 30 days. Synchrony Bank typically requires a FICO score of 640 or higher. The application uses a soft credit pull that does not impact your score — a hard pull only occurs upon approval.
Card Features
The Venmo Credit Card includes a unique QR code printed on the front for instant Venmo payments between friends. It is compatible with Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay for contactless payments. Synchrony Bank reports your payment activity to all three major credit bureaus — Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion — every month, helping you build credit with responsible use.
